Please Note: Your new coleus have spent their whole life in a greenhouse, so please water your new plants, plant them in quality soil, and keep them in a warm area protected from direct wind and sun until they have hardened off. The plants we sell are sensitive to cold, and should not be planted outdoors until after danger of frost and average overnight lows are at least 60 degrees. When planting in areas that receive a lot of sun or wind, make sure that your coleus have a root system that is well-developed. The coleus we ship are starter plants, and the root-balls they arrive with might not be able to provide the coleus with enough water to survive extreme conditions. Your coleus may need to be potted and grown on until their root system is more developed. Please refer to our Coleus Care page for more detailed instructions.
